Watch GSL live on your iPad/iPhone - Photo: GOMTV.net

GOMTV.net just announced that they launched their new mobile site. This will make it possible to watch GSL live in your iPad and iPhone!

GOMTV.net just released their new mobile site; m.gomtv.net this will make it possible to watch the live broadcasts in your iPad or iPhone if you are not able to use your computer! This is some great news and I think this will be a great success for GOMTV. It’s an easy way to reach out to even more people around the world. You will of course need the premium season ticket account but I don’t think that it’s to much to ask. Go and support the community!

GOMTV.net also writes:

Please note that the service for Android based devices is currently under development.

A great week for the foreigners in Korea, LiquidHuK and FXOqxc made us proud!

All the foreigners are out of GSL July but in the GSTL we saw a great success win the last two games to win it for oGs-TL vs. Prime. And yesterday we saw FXOqxc team kill IM after 4 strong games.

Liquid’HuK seemed a bit nervous but happy when he walked to the booth to play in his first GSTL game, commentators and everyone at Twitter went crazy when they saw that it was Liquid’HuK that should take on CheckPrime. oGs-TL was down 2-3 when Liquid’HuK steeped in the booth and turned it around. He won the game and Prime sent up MarineKing but not even MarineKing could do anything against foreigner Liquid’HuK! oGs-TL won the game 4-3.

But the most impressive play last week was when FXOqxc team killed IM. FXOqxc took down: IM_Horror, IM_BBi, IM_Dreamertt and IM_MVP.

GSL October Final at Blizzcon in Anaheim

Global StarCraft 2 League

This is amazing news, the GSL final in October will be held at Blizzcon in Anaheim, USA. This will give us TWO StarCraft 2 tournaments at Blizzon.

Mr.Chae from GOMTV writes that he got many requests from the foreign scene about hosting the GSL final outside South Korea so people around the world would have an easier way to watch the finals live. So Mr.Chae decided to look around on where GOMTV could host the finals and they ended up with Blizzcon in Anaheim USA.

I don’t want StarCraft 2 to become an e-sports title like SC BW which was excluded to people inside of Korea.

But this doesn’t mean that Blizzard are shutting down their own tournament at all. They will still host their tournament along with the GSL final. That means that we get twice as much StarCraft 2 action in Anaheim!

Yes, the final for GSL Oct. will be held in Anaheim. You will be able to enjoy both Blizzcon events and GSL final.

The Code A Preliminaries for July has ended and players like oGsHappy and MVP_Dream manage to qualify for their first Code A appearance. They will face the legendary SlayerS_BoxeR and the two time GSL Code S 4th place finisher Liquid’Jinro with many other.

A few hours ago GOMTv announced that they just finished the Code A Preliminaries and here are the player list.

Protoss:
oGsHero
MVP_TAiLS
ShinyStar
NSHoSeo_Tassadar
ZeNEXPuzzle
choyafOu
FOXSocceR

Terran:
IMHappy
IMYoda
GuMihofOu
MVP_Dream
NuclearfOu

Zerg:
oGsJ
LeenockfOu
ST_Curious

Only three Zerg players ready for the Cod A, feels a bit like IdrA is right on “Zerg is not suppose to win against Protoss”. But as a Protoss player in heart I’m really happy to see so many Protoss players in the lineup.

The qualified players will play against a strong line of players that has both played Code A and Code S, for an example we have the legendary Terran player SlayerS_BoxeR and the 2 time GSL Code S 4th time finisher Liquid’Jinro playing for a spot in the Code S again.

Here is a short list of players that will face the newcomers for the spots:

Protoss:
NSHoSeo_san
IMNuts
NSHoSeo_VANVANTH

Terran:
SlayerS_Ryung
ST_Rainbow
oGsHyperdub
SlayerS_MMA
FOXLyn
SlayerS_BoxeR
MVP_Noblesse
Liquid’Jinro

Zerg:
oGsTheWind
CheckPrime.WE
SlayerS_YugiOh
SlayerS_Min
