TSL_PuMa to Evil Geniuses?

TSL_PuMa that recently won the North American StarLeague Season 1 after beating oGsMC in the final with 4-3 seems to have signed a contract with the American team Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses that have players like IdrA and iNControl seems to have signed the strong Terran player TSL_PuMa to their roster. But it seems like the TSL management aren’t that happy with the transfer of PuMa.

The manager Lee says (Translated by Milkis over at Teamliquid.net):

“It is disappointing that we have to make a decision like this, but it’s extremely objectionable that Evil Geniuses would ignore the coaches completely and directly go talk to the player”

There are still no official news on any of the Evil Geniuses pages. But the rumor say that Evil Geniuses will pay PuMa’s salary and also give him LAN support. We just have to wait and see how this will turn out, my guess is that we will see an official post by Evil Geniuses will post something within the next 24 hours.

I like that more Korean players are mixed in the foreign teams so we don’t get that “Korea vs. World” as we saw in the Brood war scene. And I hope this was done in correct manners and I’m looking forward to see EGPuMa playing in more tournaments.

What do you guys think about this, comment please?

I’d really love to see PuMa on more LAN events and EG is doubtless gonna offer him that, however, I don’t wanna see another conflict like the one between fnatic and SK when Delpan tansfered. I hope this one will go smoothly!

I agree with the mixing of foreigners and koreans in the same teams. It’s really good for the scene and hopefully SC2 won’t be as korea fixated as its predescessor. Although I don’t know how well Puma will get along with IdrA and his EG minions.

iNcoNtrol is a nice guy. He will probably welcome PuMa with open arms ;)
